Are you a skilled 7.5-ton driver seeking flexible work opportunities in Warrington? Join our Careermakers and become part of our dynamic team, providing essential transportation services without the need for a long-term commitment. We are currently seeking reliable drivers to support our operations in and around Preston, offering competitive pay rates and flexible scheduling.
Responsibilities:
* Operate a 7.5-ton vehicle safely and efficiently to transport goods and packages to various locations within Preston and the surrounding areas.
* Follow designated routes and adhere to all relevant traffic laws and regulations.
* Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goods while providing exceptional customer service.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition and report any issues promptly.
* Handle packages with care, ensuring they are loaded and unloaded securely to prevent damage.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any deviations from the planned route or schedule.
* Up to 20 stops.
* Monday β Friday, 9am start.
Requirements:
* Valid UK driving license with category C1 entitlement for 7.5-ton vehicles.
* Proven experience as a 7.5-ton driver, preferably in a delivery or logistics environment.
* Excellent driving skills with a strong focus on safety and adherence to regulations. xiskglj
