Regional Manager - Care Homes
Location: North West - covering Preston, Blackpool, Huyton, Eccles & Leyland
Salary: Circa £70,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, Permanent
RGN qualification preferred
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Regional Manager to oversee a portfolio of care homes across the North West.
This is a senior operational role requiring a strong leader who can drive quality, compliance, occupancy and commercial performance across multiple services while supporting Home Managers to deliver the highest standards of care.
The Role
- Provide operational leadership across a portfolio of care homes
- Support, coach and develop Home Managers
- Drive high standards of care, quality and resident experience
- Ensure services remain compliant with CQC requirements
- Monitor performance and implement improvement plans where required
- Oversee budgets, staffing, agency usage and commercial performance
- Support homes to maintain and improve occupancy
- Monitor safeguarding, complaints, audits and clinical governance
- Recruit and retain strong management teams
- Work closely with senior leadership to achieve regional objectives
About You
- Proven Regional Manager or multi-site management experience within the care sector
- Strong background within nursing and/or residential care homes
- RGN with current NMC registration is highly desirable
- Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance
- Strong commercial and financial awareness
- Proven ability to improve quality and operational performance
- Confident managing and developing Home Managers
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel across the region
