They are now looking for an experienced Tax Accountant. The role will assist in key areas such as:
- IHT returns for predominantly excluded property trusts, which may include assisting lawyers with structure analysis.
- Preparing income and stockpiled gains pools for non-UK trustees, which can include aiding tax advice for UK resident beneficiaries.
- Preparing UK personal tax returns for UK resident non-domiciled individuals and non-UK residents.
These areas offer a mixed workload and opportunities to work across different parts of the department. You may also work on projects like de-enveloping UK properties, which can include non-resident capital gains tax, corporation tax compliance, ATED, and TRS compliance.
What you’ll need:
- Relevant previous accountancy and tax experience, ideally in trust and personal tax fields.
- Relevant accountancy qualification (either AAT or ACA/ACCA) as well as having a particular interest in the area of tax.
- Experience of using tax software packages.
