My client, a leading international law firm, with a large presence in the US, is looking to recruit a Senior Legal Recruitment Coordinator to join their wider Recruitment team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing and collaborative recruitment function within a globally recognised professional services environment. The role will play a key part in supporting lateral hiring activity across multiple practice areas, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience for candidates and stakeholders alike.
Reporting into the Legal Recruitment Manager, you will provide end-to-end coordination support across the lateral recruitment lifecycle, partnering closely with internal stakeholders, external agencies, and candidates. This is a fast-paced, highly visible role, requiring strong organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Support lateral associate recruitment across a range of practice areas in London and internationally
- Build and maintain strong relationships with search firms and external recruitment partners
- Process, track, and manage candidate applications and submissions
- Assist with CV screening and shortlisting, ensuring high-quality candidate pipelines
- Coordinate and schedule interviews (both in-person and virtual), including logistics, room bookings, and candidate management
- Act as a key point of contact for candidates, ensuring a seamless and professional experience throughout the process
- Collect and track interview feedback, supporting decision-making processes
- Manage pre-employment processes, including documentation, background checks, and onboarding coordination
- Support job posting activity both internally and externally
- Monitor agency agreements, track supplier terms, and oversee recruitment-related costs and invoices
- Maintain accurate recruitment data, reports, and trackers, providing insight where required
- Support the wider recruitment team on projects and initiatives, including graduate recruitment when needed
- Degree-educated (or equivalent)
- 3–5 years’ experience in a recruitment coordination or talent acquisition role within a professional services environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems and managing high-volume recruitment activity
- A proactive, self-starting mindset with a strong sense of ownership
- Proven ability to build effective working relationships and deliver a high level of service
- Additional language skills (particularly French) would be beneficial
