My client, a top international law firm, is actively recruiting for an experienced Legal Risk & Compliance professional to join them on a permanent basis in their London office - working as their new AML Officer.
This AML Officer opportunity sits within the wider Business Acceptance Team and ensures all clients and matters opened adhere to the firm's AML and CDD policies/procedures.
You'll be setting foot into an experienced and professional team - providing AML guidance across the firm.
As the successful AML Officer, you'll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Conducting client screening and preparing risk assessments
- Ensuring all new clients/matters comply with AML and CDD policies/procedures
- Conduct EDD, PEPs and sanctions monitoring
- Monitoring the AML shared inbox
- Provide support and guidance to Compliance Officer in relation to their AML and CDD related responsibilities
Plus much more.
To be considered for this new AML Officer opportunity, you'll need to have/be the following:
- Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a Legal AML/CDD position
- Have experience using Risk & Compliance systems
- Be able to attend the London office on a regular basis.
The firm expect the successful candidate to be in the office 4 days per week during probation, 3 days per week after probation.
