The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and CIPA-qualified Senior IP Legal Assistant to provide comprehensive support to the firm’s legal and patent professionals. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and experienced individual to contribute to a well-respected firm at the forefront of intellectual property law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing high-level administrative and legal support to patent attorneys and legal professionals.
- Managing patent and trademark filings, ensuring compliance with UKIPO, EPO, WIPO, and other relevant authorities.
- Monitoring deadlines and maintaining accurate records within the firm’s IP management system.
- Preparing and filing legal documents, including powers of attorney, assignments, and declarations.
- Conducting legal research and assisting with client correspondence.
- Liaising with clients, external counsel, and international IP offices to facilitate smooth case management.
- Assisting with billing, invoicing, and financial administration related to IP matters.
- Ensuring adherence to industry regulations and best practices.
Requirements:
- CIPA Qualification is essential.
- Proven experience working within an intellectual property firm in a legal assistant or paralegal capacity.
