About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and experienced Senior Funds & Regulatory Lawyer to join the Corporate team of a leading offshore law firm in Guernsey. This role offers the chance to work on complex and high-profile matters in a dynamic, partner-led environment, with a strong focus on investment funds and regulatory issues.
The successful candidate will handle a broad range of legal matters, lead client relationships, and mentor junior fee earners. The role also includes involvement in business development initiatives, offering excellent career progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice on investment funds, regulatory compliance, and corporate matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents and agreements.
- Act as the lead lawyer on transactions, managing legal risks and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality advice.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Mentor and supervise junior team members, fostering their development and contributing to a collaborative team culture.
- Support business development efforts, including attending industry events, writing thought leadership pieces, and contributing to client pitches.
Key Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years’ PQE in corporate, financial services, funds, or regulatory law.
- Strong academic credentials and professional qualifications.
- Proven experience advising on investment funds and regulatory compliance matters.

- The ability to manage complex legal issues independently and within a team.
