My client, an international law firm, is actively recruiting for an experienced Risk & Compliance professional with AML and Conflicts experience to join them on an initial 12m FTC basis in their London office – working as their Senior Compliance Officer. This role is a maternity cover contract!
The Business Acceptance team is a global team operating out of three offices, including London. This role has elements of day-to-day compliance work, as well as people management.
As the successful Senior Compliance Officer, you’ll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Acting as an initial escalation point for queries from team members
- Managing workload by allocating work fairly and ensuring it’s completed promptly
- Analysing conflict search results and resolving any issues
- Implementing and maintaining information barriers
- Conducting sanctions screenings
- Playing a leading role in ongoing training and mentoring
- Ensuring Compliance Officers apply a consistent approach to resolving conflicts, AML and other issues
To be considered for this opportunity, you’ll need to have/be the following:
- Have at least 4 years’ experience in a Business Acceptance role from a law firm
- Have a solid understanding of AML and Conflicts rules
- Have previous/existing line management or supervisory experience
- Be able to commit to a 12m FTC
- Be experienced using Intapp Open and Walls
