Are you a driven Senior Compliance Officer with a background in legal services? My client, a top-ranked London law firm, is looking to appoint a dedicated compliance professional to play a key role in maintaining high regulatory and ethical standards across the business.

What my client is looking for:
- 5–8 years’ experience in legal compliance within a law firm environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong numerical accuracy, and solid IT skills (particularly Excel and Word).
- Ability to work to deadlines with strong organisation, attention to detail and teamwork.
- Good working knowledge of personal injury law and the SRA Code of Conduct.
- Degree-educated (preferred but not essential).
- Practical knowledge of cyber security and information risk.
What you’ll be doing:
- Auditing files to ensure regulatory compliance, documenting processes and reporting on findings.
- Responding to staff compliance queries and maintaining accurate data records.
- Organising inductions and delivering regular compliance training and updates.
- Owning and developing the firm’s cyber awareness programme.
- Conducting file reviews and managing complaints handling.
- Taking responsibility for data protection matters, including subject access requests.
- Managing and developing junior compliance staff.
