DVF are working with a leading US law firm who are seeking a Senior Analyst to join its Legal Technology Portfolio, Strategy & Operations team.
Thisisaseniorindividualcontributorroleforanexperiencedlegaltechnology,AIorproductprofessionalwhocancombinestrongproductmanagementskillswithcredibilityandconfidenceworkingwithlawyersandseniorstakeholders.
YouwillownaportfolioofstrategicallyimportantlawyerfacinglegaltechnologyandAIapplications,spanningareassuchasAIresearchanddrafting,documentautomation,contractanalysisandlitigationtechnology.Youwillmanageproductsthroughtheirfulllifecyclefromevaluationandpilotsthroughonboarding,adoption,performancemeasurement,renewaland,whereappropriate,retirement.
KeyResponsibilities
- Ownthestrategy,roadmapandlifecycleofanassignedportfoliooflegaltechnologyandAIapplications.
- Leadtechnologyevaluations,pilotsandbusinesscases,providingevidence-basedrecommendationstoseniorstakeholders.
- Actasasubject-matterexpertforyourportfolio,understandingproductcapabilities,limitations,marketdevelopmentsandvendorroadmaps.
- EvaluateAIsolutions,includingoutputquality,datahandling,security,confidentialityandresponsible-useconsiderations.
- Defineandtrackadoption,usage,valueandROImetrics,usingdatatoinformportfoliodecisions.
- Partnerwithlawyers,practicegroupsandbusinessstakeholderstoidentifyneedsandtranslatethemintotechnologyrequirementsandpracticalsolutions.
- Leadimplementations,upgrades,integrationsandfirmwidetechnologyrollouts,workingcloselywithEngineering,InformationSecurity,Procurementandvendors.
- MonitordevelopmentsacrossthelegaltechnologyandAImarketandidentifyemergingopportunities,alternativesandareasforconsolidation.
- Managevendorrelationships,renewalsandcommercialdiscussions.
- PartnerwithenablementandknowledgeteamstosupportlawyeradoptionandeffectiveuseofAIandlegaltechnology.
- Mentorjuniorteammembersandcontributetothedevelopmentofproductmanagementandportfoliogovernancepractices.
AboutYou
- Experienceinproductmanagement,technologydeliveryorITprojectmanagement,withmeaningfullegaltechnologyexperience.
- Experienceowningtechnologyproductsthroughafulllifecycle,fromevaluationandimplementationthroughadoption,measurementandrenewalorretirement.
- Hands-on experience evaluating or managing AI-enabled applications, with an understanding of output quality, data handling and responsible AI considerations.
