My client, a global powerhouse law firm, is actively recruiting for an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join them on a permanent basis in their London office, focusing on Commercial Real Estate.
This firm has over 2,600 Lawyers across 47 offices worldwide. You’ll be working in a team of experienced Fee-Earners and Paralegals on a broad range of Commercial Real Estate matters.
As the successful Real Estate Paralegal, you’ll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Assisting Real Estate Associates and Partners with ad-hoc tasks
- Assisting with conditions precedent list on Real Estate financing
- Land Registry applications, including dealing with related requisitions
- Drafting, negotiation and completing short and long form commercial leases
- Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 paperwork
- Licenses for alterations and licenses to assign
- Wayleave agreements
- Lease reporting
- + much more.
To be considered for this new Real Estate Paralegal opportunity, you’ll need to have/be the following:
- Have previous/existing COMMERCIAL Real Estate experience from an international or US law firm
- Be educated to degree level (LLB 2:1 / GDL minimum)
- Be familiar with Land Registry and HMRC Stamp Duty
- Have previous experience of commercial landlord and tenant matters (acting for either) – ESSENTIAL experience required
