Birmingham Officer – Permanent Opportunity

Our client, a top UK law firm, is actively recruiting for an experienced Paralegal to join them on a permanent basis in their Birmingham office – working as their new Property Litigation Paralegal.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the largest teams in England & Wales – acting for over 100 Registered Providers, advising on all aspects of Housing Management and Property Litigation.

As the successful Paralegal, you\’ll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

– Assisting Solicitors (and other Fee-Earners) in the day-to-day running of files

– Preparing trial bundles

– Drafting, amending and preparing legal documentation (pleadings, witness statements, claim forms, etc)

– Liaising with Court prior to trials

– Attending Court to assist Barristers and other Fee-Earners

– Managing a large number of deadlines

+ much more.

To be considered for this position, you\’ll need to have/be the following:

– Have a completed law degree (2:2 or equivalent minimum)

– Have experience as a Paralegal/Legal Assistant within Real Estate, Property Litigation or Housing Management (essential)

– Be able to commute to the Birmingham office on a regular basis (essential)

– Have experience dealing with Registered Providers and/or Private Landlords (desirable)
