Our client is a prestigious global law firm with offices across Europe, Asia, and the US. The London office is a key hub for the firm's international operations, and this is an exciting opportunity to take on a senior accounting role supporting multiple jurisdictions.
This newly created role will provide comprehensive support to the Director of Finance, Europe & Asia. This role covers all aspects of tax and management accounting for the firm's European offices and involves collaboration with global teams on complex financial projects.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct tax research and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Analyse financial data to identify tax implications and opportunities.
- Prepare VAT calculations and documentation for all European offices.
- Collaborate with crossâfunctional teams to gather tax information.
- Support tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
- Maintain accurate tax records and assist with special projects.
- Work with the Lead Accountant, Asia on tax return materials for multiple offices.
- Contribute to Pillar 2 reporting and adâhoc projects (e.g., opening new offices).
- Provide management reporting and analysis as directed by the Director of Finance.
- Strong background in tax and management accounting.
- Experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problemâsolving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across jurisdictions.
