We are partnered with a leading international law firm that is expanding its Structured Finance team in London due to a sustained increase in workload. This is an additional hire, with three paralegals already in the team, offering strong support, exposure, and progression. The team is highly regarded in the market and advises on complex, high-value structured finance transactions, with a particular focus on Collateralised Loan Obligations (CLOs). This is a busy, deal-driven environment with excellent training and hands-on responsibility.
The Role:
The Structured Finance Paralegal will support lawyers on a range of transactions, including:
- CLOs (primary focus)
- Securitisations and other asset-backed finance transactions
- Cross-border structured finance matters
Typical responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with drafting and managing transaction documentation
- Running conditions precedent and closing checklists
- Coordinating with clients, banks, trustees, and local counsel
- Supporting due diligence and document reviews
- Assisting with incorporations and ongoing SPV management
- General transaction and post-closing support
Candidate Profile:
The firm is ideally looking for:
- A paralegal with CLO experience, or
- A paralegal with 6–12 months’ experience in general finance, banking, or transactional work who is keen to specialise in structured finance
You should be:
- Highly organised and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working on multiple transactions at pace
