My client is a leading international law firm, with an excellent reputation within the corporate finance sector, and they are now looking to recruit a Reward Assistant to cover a 6-month FTC, working from their London office in the heart of the City. Working as part of a collaborative and supportive Reward team, you will play a key role in the administration and delivery of employee and partner benefits, providing first-line support on reward-related queries and helping to ensure the smooth running of a range of reward processes across the business. The role offers broad exposure across compensation and benefits administration, stakeholder engagement, reporting, and project support, making it an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data while also delivering a first-class service to employees and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Providing day-to-day support to the Reward team across a range of compensation and benefits activities
- Acting as a first point of contact for employee and partner reward and benefits queries
- Managing a shared Reward inbox, ensuring queries are handled efficiently and professionally
- Producing and maintaining regular reporting for payroll, benefits providers, and internal stakeholders
- Performing data checks, reconciliations, and audits to ensure the accuracy of employee and benefits information
- Processing benefit-related invoices and supporting financial reconciliations
- Assisting with annual benefits renewals and wider reward cycles
- Supporting the administration and ongoing maintenance of the firm's online benefits platform
- Helping to create engaging communications to promote employee and partner benefits
- Providing presentations and benefit overviews to new joiners and trainee populations
- Supporting the team with ad hoc reward projects and supplier management activities
- Previous experience within HR, Reward, Benefits, or Compensation
- Professional services experience, ideally from a legal, financial services, accounting, or consulting environment
- Strong Excel skills, including the use of pivot tables, lookups, and data manipulation
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical ability
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Confident written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with HR systems such as Workday or similar platforms
