A leading City law firm is looking for a Junior PA to join its highly regarded Private Client team, supporting Partners, lawyers and senior team members in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone early in their legal support career who wants to develop into a well-rounded Team PA within a supportive, professional services setting.

The Role

You’ll be part of a busy team hub, providing high-quality administrative and PA support across the department. Your role will be varied, hands-on and client-facing, giving you exposure to the full lifecycle of legal matters and client relationships.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting Partners and fee earners with day-to-day admin and PA tasks
  • Managing diaries, booking meetings, conference calls and coordinating with IT, facilities and reception
  • Handling billing and expenses, including understanding the end-to-end billing process
  • Assisting with matter opening, client due diligence and engagement letters
  • Acting as a first point of contact for clients and internal teams
  • Producing, formatting and managing documents via document production
  • Supporting business development and marketing activity, including:
  • Updating CRM systems with client and meeting data
  • Organising client lunches, events and meetings
  • Running weekly BD reports
  • Helping with ad-hoc projects such as bundles, seminars and client events

You’ll also receive training in specialist areas such as billing, client reporting and knowledge management, helping you build a strong foundation for a long-term PA career. This role would suit someone who is organised, proactive and keen to grow within a legal or professional services environment.

Experience & Skills

  • Previous admin or PA experience within a law firm or professional services environment (ideal but not essential)
  • Legal secretarial or admin qualifications are advantageous
  • Confident using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong typing, spelling, formatting and proofreading skills
