We're working with a London law firm that is seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to join its HR team on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that would suit an HR professional who enjoys variety, thrives in a busy environment and can quickly become a trusted point of contact for employees and managers. With exposure to the full employee lifecycle, you'll play an important role in ensuring the smooth delivery of day-to-day HR operations while providing a high standard of support across the business.

Salary - up to Β£45k

Hybrid working - in office 3 days per week.

Key duties will include:

  • Acting as a first point of contact for a broad range of HR-related queries, providing timely and practical support to employees and stakeholders.
  • Helping to coordinate key people processes and ensuring HR activities are delivered accurately and efficiently.
  • Managing and prioritising requests received through shared HR inboxes, ensuring matters are handled appropriately and within agreed timeframes.
  • Maintaining employee information across HR systems and records, ensuring data is accurate, up to date and compliant.
  • Supporting managers and employees through various employment-related processes and administrative requirements.
  • Assisting with the preparation of HR documentation, correspondence and employee communications.
  • Contributing to the effective running of HR operations by supporting reporting, data management and process administration.
  • Liaising with colleagues across the wider business to ensure a seamless and professional employee experience.
  • Supporting ongoing HR initiatives and projects as required, while helping identify opportunities to improve existing processes.

About you:

We're keen to speak with candidates who have previous experience working within an HR function and are confident handling a varied workload in a professional environment.

You'll be highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to build effective working relationships and provide a responsive service to employees and managers.

This role requires someone who can hit the ground running and quickly establish themselves as a reliable member of the HR team. You'll have a practical, common-sense approach, strong attention to detail, and the confidence to take ownership of tasks while knowing when to seek guidance.

Previous experience supporting HR operations, coordinating employee lifecycle activities and managing high volumes of queries would be highly beneficial.
