They are a boutique firm dedicated to IP and to serving knowledge, technology and brands-based industries. They are now expanding their accounts department and seeking to hire a person with a couple of years experience of working in billing or accounts payable within a law firm.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and distributing billing guides to Partners for review
- Amending and transferring time entries as instructed
- Producing draft invoices
- Checking, finalising and submitting invoices to clients in various formats, including via email/clients’ e-billing system
- Liaising with Partners on billing issues including following up unsettled draft bills
- Processing disbursements, Counsel Fees and overhead invoices
- Daily incoming payment processing (office and client account)
- Processing outgoing payments (disbursements and overheads)
- Processing and reconciling foreign currency and petty cash
- Corporate card admin and processing
Candidate Profile:
- Prior experience within billing
- Experience if working in the accounts department of a law firm
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
