My client is a leading and award-winning law firm with an impressive client base, who are looking to recruit an Early Careers Recruitment Assistant who will report into the Early Careers Recruitment Manager. This role is a 6 month FTC, based in London.
The Early Careers Recruitment Assistant will be responsible for providing the administrative and operational support in the attraction, selection and development of all trainees across the firm. The key duties will include:
- Responsible for maintaining the systems used within the department, updating any data, processing expenses from candidates and invoices from external providers and allocating applications across the team for screening.
- Creating assessment centre/feedback calls and updating the team calendar as needed.
- Reporting on all recruitment and assessment processes, for example on diversity data.
- Securing bookings with universities for law fairs and organising the attendance for campus lead events.
- Responsible for the logistics of external events (booking rooms, catering, organising speakers for external events).
- Supporting the diversity & inclusivity team with any graduate related events.
- Providing administrative support in all aspects of arranging and coordinating assessment centre days.
- Collating packs for interviewing partners and organising vacation schemes.
- Producing the paperwork for graduate offers and responsible for the collation of signed offer documentation and onboarding documents as required.
- Assisting in creating content for the careers page and trainee website.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a high-volume administrative role. The candidate will be proactive and professional with a knowledge of systems (Recruitment databases, excel, outlook). They will have exceptional communication skills and offer a personable and efficient approach to their workload.
