My client is a leading global law firm with centrally based London offices, who are looking to hire a Graduate Recruitment and Development Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis. The Graduate Recruitment and Development Coordinator will lead on all recruitment for the Trainee population, working closely with the Graduate Recruitment & Development Advisor and the wider Talent team.

The key duties will include:

  • Managing candidates through the recruitment process, including inviting to testing, video interviews and assessment centres.
  • Planning and coordination of the training contract assessment day process. Booking rooms, coordinating interviewer and assessor availability and distributing interview paperwork.
  • Managing training contract offer process including drafting offer paperwork, maintaining all relevant trackers, drafting training contracts and terms and conditions of employment for future Trainee Solicitors.
  • Screening of training contract, vacation scheme and open day applications in conjunction with the GRDM, GRDOs and GR intern.
  • Organising LPC events and future Trainee Solicitor social events.
  • Liaising with BPP to confirm future Trainee Solicitor details for the GDL and LPC.
  • Supporting diversity events alongside the GRDO & GRDM.
  • Setting up on-boarding for Trainee Solicitors joining the Firm in March and September.
  • Assisting with logistical arrangements for Trainee solicitor seat moves including all systems updates on SAP and HR system.
  • Providing support for the qualification process including collation of evaluation forms and final seat feedback, creating and updating Trainee Solicitor summary sheets, qualification presentation and management of the qualification secure intranet site.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders including Graduate Recruitment Partner, Graduate Recruitment Panel, Trainee Solicitors, Associates, and key business services teams.
  • Shared responsibility for the Graduate Recruitment inbox, drafting responses using template email text and escalating any unusual or complex queries as appropriate.

The Graduate Recruitment and Development Coordinator will have previous Graduate recruitment or HR experience, ideally within a Law Firm or professional services environment. You will have a strong work ethic, exceptional communication skills and be able to support in a busy and varied role.
