My client, an elite US law firm, is actively recruiting for an experienced Legal Conflicts professional to join them on a permanent basis in London – working as their new Conflicts Analyst. This elite law firm has over 1000 Lawyers based across 11 offices! They’re seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to join their Legal Risk & Compliance team, supporting on a global scale. You’ll work closely with Conflicts Attorneys and members of the Office of the General Counsel – identifying possible ethical and business-related conflicts of interest.

As the successful Conflicts Analyst, you’ll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

  • Processing requests for conflict searches and preparing clearance reports for Conflicts Attorneys and Partners
  • Performing corporate research
  • Reviewing and analysing new business intake forms
  • Facilitating the review/approval of new business documentation
  • Working with conflict checking systems, including Intapp/LexisNexis/WorldCheck One/etc
  • Performing regular maintenance of all associated databases

To be considered for this new Conflicts Analyst position, you’ll need to have/be the following:

  • Have a minimum of three years’ experience in a Legal Conflicts related position, ideally from a US or top international law firm
  • Have a completed degree
  • Be able to commute to the London office on a regular basis
  • Be familiar/confident with checking systems (Intapp, LexisNexis, WorldCheck One, etc)
