Our client, a top UK law firm, is actively recruiting for an experienced Paralegal to join them on a permanent basis in their Leeds office - working as a Paralegal in their Housing Management & Property Litigation department. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the largest Property Litigation teams in England & Wales - consisting of 13 Partners and numerous Fee-Earners, Solicitors and Paralegals. The team act for over 100 Registered Providers in England & Wales - advising on all aspects of Housing Management and Property Litigation.

As the successful Paralegal, you'll be responsible for:

  • Assisting Solicitors and Fee-Earners in the day-to-day running of files
  • Preparing trial bundles
  • Drafting various legal documents (claim forms, pleadings, witness statements, etc)
  • Attending Court to assist Fee-Earners and Barristers
  • Occasionally undertaking site visits
  • Liaising with Court, prior to trials, to ensure paperwork is sent/received

To be considered for this opportunity, you'll need to have/be the following:

  • Have existing/prior experience as a Paralegal in a similar role
  • Ideally, have your LPC or SQE1 (or be studying part-time)
  • Be able to commute to the Leeds office on a regular basis
  • Ideally, have experience dealing with Private Landlords and/or Registered Providers
