My client, a globally recognised law firm, is actively seeking an enthusiastic and professional law graduate to join them on a permanent basis in their London office - working as their new Risk & Compliance Assistant.
This is a great opportunity, working for a global law firm with over 700 Lawyers across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia! You will be part of an experienced Risk & Compliance team!
As the successful Risk & Compliance Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting the Risk & Compliance Officers in general daily tasks
- Assisting with screening, company, PEPs and Sanctions database searches
- Conducting research
- Ensuring systems data by ensuring compliance of correct matter inception steps
- Compliance reporting and assisting in the production of spreadsheets
- Data cleansing for software upgrade preparation + much more.
To qualify for this position, you will need to have/be the following:
- Have a completed law degree (LLB/GDL)
- Have a minimum of SIX months experience in a Legal Compliance position (Legal Admin could also be suitable)
- Be organised and have excellent communication skills
- Be able to commute to the London office on a regular basis
