Job Description
My client is a leading global law firm and are seeking an experienced an knowledgeable Internal Talent Acquisition Advisor to join their established Recruitment Team on a permanent basis, recruiting for fee-earner (Lawyer) staff.
The main responsibilities for the Internal Talent Acquisition Advisor will be to manage the attraction and selection of individuals for fee-earners, while engaging with the highest quality candidates from the widest possible pool and providing an outstanding candidate experience.
Salary competitive with International Law Firms.
The key duties will include:
- Developing and managing the candidate ‘talent pool’ while working closely with hiring managers to identify hiring needs, skill sets and a resourcing plan.
- Establishing innovative sourcing and attraction strategies to attract the right people.
- Seamlessly consulting with stakeholders to update on the development of strategic recruitment approaches.
- Determining and managing the relationships with partner organisations to ensure access to a diverse candidate pool while working on best recruitment practices involving diversity awareness.
- Managing the offer and onboarding process including the ability to influence and negotiate with candidates.
- Managing recruitment campaigns – handling internal stakeholders, external agencies, candidates and decision-making process.
- Developing and maintaining agency relationships – providing updates on job pipelines, sending Firm updates, hosting agency briefings and brand raising events throughout the year.
- Determining objective and fair selection and assessment methods to use for candidates.
The Internal Talent Acquisition Advisor MUST have experience of recruiting Lawyers and will ideally have a strong recruitment experience in either a professional services/law firm environment or agency environment along with possessing excellent interviewing skills, knowledge of selection techniques and sourcing options. It is essential to have strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills while handling multiple priorities to meet deadlines. The right candidate will demonstrate the ability to influence senior stakeholders, build credible relationships and be confident in challenging situations appropriately.
