My client is a market leading international law firm renowned for pioneering the international law firm model, they are now looking for a client focused and motivated HR Advisor to join their HR team in London on a permanent basis. The HR Advisor will be responsible for advising on and managing key human resources processes and supporting the HR Managers in the successful delivery of human resources services at all stages of the employee lifecycle while helping drive forward the global and regional people agenda through participating in HR projects and programs. The key duties will include: Being the primary contact for all policy related queries, ensuring advice is applied in a commercial and practical way. Conducting exit interviews, investigations for disciplinary grievance processes in London and assisting with the drafting of correspondences. Working collaboratively to support the HR Managers with the timely launch and successful delivery of the performance evaluation processes. Leading on the relationship with payroll, ensuring all relevant forms are processes each month as required Maintaining the relevant People data sources, including career trackers and headcount reports Identify development needs and coordinate with partners/managers and learning specialists. Lead local induction programmes and assist with MA promotion processes. Promote a culture of continuous feedback and manage transfers, secondments, and exchanges efficiently. Advise on performance management and employee relations using best practices. Coach and influence partners/managers and manage sickness absence in collaboration with Occupational Health. Drive the annual appraisal, salary, and bonus review processes. Ensure equity in appraisal decisions and provide training on annual processes. The HR Advisor will ideally have HR experience within a professional services environment/a global law firm. A CIPD qualification (full or part) would be advantageous. It is essential to be highly client focused, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels and be highly detail oriented. The right candidate will have excellent technical skills and ability to learn new systems (knowledge of PeopleSoft advantageous) and effective delegation skills.
