A leading law firm are currently looking for an Event Executive to join their team on a permanent basis. Within the team, you will support the firm in meeting the increasing events demand, managing client events, and assisting the Events Manager with the larger client and internal events. You will manage the pipeline and logistics for all internal, external, virtual, and hybrid firm events.
This role will work within the Marketing and Business Development (MBD) team, liaising with external teams and practice groups to source, organise, execute, and drive follow-up for the firm’s events, wherever they may take place. This includes roundtables, conferences, sponsorships, receptions and networking events, and social events, as well as managing and maintaining the firm’s global event calendar. This role will be based in London.
Responsibilities include:
- All event project management – meeting with Partners and BD Managers to discuss events briefs and provide ideas
- Delivering professional and seamless in-person, virtual and hybrid events from proposal to completion, on time and within budget
- Assisting with the delivery of larger events
- Managing timelines and communicating to the wider team the priorities for every event
- Working closely with Business Development Managers on event organisation.
- Responsible for the smooth running of events on the day, in-person or virtually.
- Assisting with the design of, coordinating and issuing invitations
- Managing client responses
- Pre and post-event evaluation
Key skills and requirements:
- Previous experience in Events, preferably gained whilst working in a professional services firm
- You will be confident and pragmatic with an enthusiastic and positive attitude
- Well-organised with strong attention to detail and able to deliver to a consistently high standard
- Strong attention to detail and goal orientated
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong IT skills, particularly with MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel).
- Be able to work collaboratively with a supportive and inclusive approach
- The ability to work effectively with, and influence, partners and other key stakeholders.
