The Role

The firm’s Employment team handles a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters. You will work with high-profile clients from industries such as financial services, technology, private households, and sport, advising on complex and often international employment matters.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage your own caseload, with autonomy and support as needed.
  • Draft and negotiate service agreements, settlement agreements, and transactional documents.
  • Provide pragmatic, commercial employment advice across a wide variety of matters, including:
  • Employment contracts, grievances, and dismissals.
  • High Court and tribunal disputes.
  • TUPE, redundancies, business transfers, and outsourcing.
  • Collaborate with overseas lawyers and counsel in multi-jurisdictional cases.
  • Take an active role in raising the profile of the Employment practice and leading business development initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking an accomplished employment lawyer with:

  • At least 6 years’ PQE gained in a respected Employment team.
  • A strong track record in both contentious and non-contentious work.
  • The ability to handle multiple files with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Confidence in giving pragmatic, risk-based advice to a variety of clients.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and a willingness to mentor junior team members.
  • An aptitude for business development and building long-term client relationships.
