Job Description

My client is a UK law firm, based in London, who is looking to recruit an Early Careers Assistant / Graduate Development Assistant on a permanent basis. This is the perfect role for someone with a passion for Graduate Development.

The role could also suit someone experienced as an Assistant and ready to be a "Junior Advisor".

Salary, up to approx. £36,000 (up to approx. £40,000 if Junior Advisor level).

The Early Careers Assistant will be a valuable member of the team and will work closely with the Early Careers Advisor, who specialises in Early Careers Development.

The key duties will include:

  • Assisting with seat rotation plans.
  • Provide support to Trainees through their duration of time, through to qualification.
  • Supporting the Advisor on mid and end of seat reviews.
  • Building and maintaining relationships across the firm.
  • Facilitating the firms assessment days for vacation scheme and training contract candidates.
  • Supporting the wider team with ad-hoc projects and requests.

The Early Careers Assistant will be a confident and highly organised individual with a sound understanding of the legal trainee processes.
