This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and highly regarded Early Careers team, supporting the attraction, recruitment and onboarding of future trainee solicitors, solicitor apprentices and vacation scheme students.

Working closely with the Early Careers Advisers and Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering recruitment campaigns, assessment centres, campus events and future joiner programmes, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the administration and coordination of vacation schemes, assessment centres and solicitor apprenticeship recruitment.
  • Manage candidate applications, recruitment systems and assessment processes.
  • Coordinate interviews, assessment centres and recruitment events.
  • Prepare recruitment materials, candidate communications and onboarding documentation.
  • Support candidate onboarding, including pre-employment screening, payroll administration, IT setup and joining instructions.
  • Act as a key point of contact for candidates, future joiners and campus ambassadors.
  • Assist with university engagement activities, law fairs, insight events and diversity initiatives.
  • Coordinate future joiner programmes and maintain accurate recruitment records and databases.
  • Support the wider team with reporting, invoices, process improvements and ad hoc projects.

Skills and experience required:

  • Degree educated or equivalent.
  • Previous administrative, recruitment or HR experience, ideally within early careers, graduate recruitment or professional services.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive and keen to build a career within Early Careers Recruitment.

This role would suit someone with recruitment, HR or administration experience who enjoys working with people, coordinating events and delivering an outstanding candidate experience.
