Data Privacy Experience Is ESSENTIAL

My client, a top international law firm, is actively seeking an experienced Legal Data Privacy professional to join them on a permanent basis in their London office – working as their new Risk & Compliance Analyst (Data Privacy).

In this role, you\’ll be reporting to the Director of Risk & Compliance and will be focusing on Data Privacy, being responsible for ensuring compliance with the firms\’ regulatory obligations in relevant jurisdictions that they operate in.

As the successful Risk & Compliance Analyst, you\’ll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

– Assisting with key data protection projects

– Coordinating and maintaining the data privacy and security work streams

– Assisting in data subject rights issues

– Conducting data protection impact assessments

– Horizon scanning

– Managing the transfer of files into and out of the firms\’ systems

– Reviewing contractual terms with clients and suppliers to ensure compliance with data protection

– Responding to compliance related requests

+ much more.

To be considered for this opportunity, you\’ll need to have/be the following:

– Previous/existing Data Privacy experience from a law firm

– Be educated to degree level

– Be able to commute to the London office on a regular basis

– Have experience in recording data and effectively reporting on data collected
