Business Acceptance Lawyer – Office of the General Counsel International Law Firm | Extremely Competitive Salary + Benefits London Office | Permanent Opportunity Our client, a top international law firm , is actively recruiting for an experienced and commercially minded Qualified Lawyer to join them on a permanent basis in their London office – working within their Business Acceptance function at Counsel level . This is a fantastic opportunity to join exceptional Office of the General Counsel team – working closely with the Business Acceptance Director. You’ll be providing high-qualify and expert level risk advisory support to the OGC Team, Business Acceptance Team and wider support staff – as well as supporting on commercial, legal and reputational risks. Assisting in the development, implementation and improvement of risk-based compliance policies, procedures and governance Assist with delivering training in relation to business acceptance risks Acting as a trusted advisor to the wider teams and business leaders, providing practical risk-based guidance on Financial Crime, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions, Conflicts, CDD and Information Barrier issues Assisting with monitoring, reviewing and reporting requirements surrounding sanctions Be a Qualified Lawyer (England & Wales or another common law or EU jurisdiction) Have expert knowledge of Financial Crime, AML, CDD, Sanctions and Legal Risk Have extensive experience from a law firm environment Have expert knowledge of legislation, ethical rules and guidelines relating to legal compliance issues Be able to attend the London office on a regular basis For more information on this position and to review a full job description, get in touch as soon as possible.
