We have the pleasure of supporting a top tier international law firm in search for an experienced and commercially minded Associate Director of Business Development to lead the business development strategy for its Global Infrastructure Industry Group.
This is a senior, strategic role working closely with global industry leaders, partners and business services teams to drive growth across the infrastructure sector.
The successful candidate will bring strong external market knowledge of the infrastructure sector, understanding how clients operate, their key priorities and how they buy legal services.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing the business development strategy for the Global Infrastructure Industry Group.
- Providing partners with strategic insight into market trends, competitors, client demand and growth opportunities.
- Identifying and prioritising key infrastructure trends, sub-sectors, clients and opportunities.
- Developing and executing strategic client plans, working alongside Strategic Client and Practice Group teams.
- Leading major infrastructure campaigns, pitches, proposals, events and profile-raising initiatives.
- Developing the Group's thought leadership and market positioning strategy, ensuring the Firm is differentiated in a competitive market.
- Building strong relationships across practices and international offices to develop cross-border opportunities.
- Supporting the Global Infrastructure Industry Group leadership with governance, planning and reporting.
- Leading, managing and developing members of the Infrastructure BD team.
- Using market, client and financial data to measure performance and refine BD strategy.
- Sharing best practice and strengthening the Firm's infrastructure credentials, knowledge and BD capability.
