Our client, an elite US law firm, is actively looking for an England & Wales and/or New York Qualified Lawyer from a Corporate/Transactional background, to join them on a permanent basis in their London office – working as their new Associate General Counsel.

You’ll be situated in their experienced and friendly Office of General Counsel – advising the firm on global governance, regulatory compliance and risk management issues. You’ll be working closely with both Partners and business services leads on a regular basis.

As the Associate General Counsel, you’ll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

  • Advising the firm on its global structure and corporate governance
  • Advising the firm on all aspects of global regulatory compliance
  • Identifying and mitigating legal and business risks
  • Handling corporate structural and regulatory compliance work
  • Liaising with Partners and Senior Stakeholders on a regular basis

To be considered for this Associate General Counsel opportunity, you’ll need to have/be the following:

  • Be an England & Wales and/or New York Qualified Lawyer (at least 3 PQE)
  • Have prior/existing experience from a Corporate/Transactional background
  • Have experience identifying and managing legal and business risks
  • Be able to attend the London office four days a week
