Our client, a globally recognised law firm, is actively recruiting for an experienced Legal Conflicts professional to join them on a permanent basis in their Leeds office - working as their new Business Acceptance Manager.
You'll be part of a Legal Conflicts focused team, based in Leeds, managing conflicts handling for all new clients and matters - as well as the implementation of information barriers. The Business Acceptance team is part of the wider Governance and Compliance team.
As the successful Business Acceptance Manager, you'll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the Conflicts Team
- Managing a team of Team Leaders, Senior Analysts, Analysts and Assistants (setting targets, monitoring performances, etc)
- Performing and managing complex conflict checks
- Managing escalations from Team Leaders
- Developing and implementing training plans
- Providing support to the wider Governance and Compliance team
- Completing reviews of team processes
- + much more.
To be considered for this position, you'll need to have/be the following:
- Have a minimum of FOUR years' experience in a conflicts focused role from a law firm
- Be familiar and up-to-date with the SRA Code of Conduct
- Be able to commute to the Leeds office at least three days a week
- Be able to demonstrate a commercial approach
