We’re working with a leading global law firm to hire a Paralegal into their Litigation & Dispute Management team in Birmingham on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic chance to join a high-performing disputes team, supporting senior lawyers on a range of complex litigation matters within the Financial Services Disputes & Investigations (FSDI) practice. You’ll gain hands-on experience across areas including motor finance litigation and retail banking disputes, working on large-scale, high-value cases.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting case preparation (bundles, disclosure, court documents)
  • Conducting legal research and summarising findings
  • Liaising with courts, counsel, and third parties
  • Managing deadlines and ensuring procedural compliance
  • Assisting with billing, reporting, and matter management
  • Supporting process improvements and data tracking

About you:

  • Prior paralegal experience in litigation/disputes (or similar)
  • Strong understanding of court procedures and deadlines
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple matters
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive, collaborative, and keen to learn
