An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join a rapidly growing and highly regarded law firm, which has expanded impressively from 7 to 50 employees over the past seven years. Due to continued growth, the finance team is looking to appoint an accounts payable assistant on a part time basis (2 days per week). You will be joining a collaborative team of two and will play a key role in supporting the firm’s ongoing success. To secure an interview you will need 18 months previous experience gained within a law firm.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing supplier invoices
  • Matching, batching and coding invoices to the correct ledger accounts
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies
  • Preparing and processing payment runs (BACS, CHAPS, etc.)
  • Assisting with client and office account management and bank reconciliations
