Our client, a very successful logistics firm, are seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to oversee night-shift operations within their logistics centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising warehouse activities, ensuring efficient materials handling, and maintaining high standards of safety and productivity.
- Hours are 5.30pm - 2.30am, Monday - Friday.
Duties:
- Lead and supervise night-shift warehouse staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Operate forklifts and other mechanical equipment safely to move heavy loads.
- Assist with training new team members and providing ongoing support to staff.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to inventory, shipments, and internal reports.
Skills:
- Proven leadership experience in warehouse management or logistics operations.
- Valid Forklift, VNA and PPT Certification, is essential.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff during night shifts.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and documentation.
