I’m currently working with a growing, forward-thinking UK manufacturer who are looking to bring in a SolidWorks Design Engineer to join their team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be designing and developing components for commercial vehicle conversions—working closely with manufacturing and installation teams to turn ideas into real, buildable solutions.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Designing components and assemblies using SolidWorks
  • Producing detailed CAD drawings and technical documentation
  • Collaborating with production to ensure designs are practical and compliant
  • Supporting bespoke builds and product development
  • Improving existing designs for performance and manufacturability

What they’re looking for:

  • SolidWorks experience in a design engineering role
  • Mechanical design background (automotive / commercial vehicles / heavy engineering ideal)
