Night Shift Warehouse Manager

Due to growth and continued succss our client is looking to recruit a night shift Warehouse Mananger to join their team. The Warehouse Night Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing all night shift warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and safe handling, storage, and dispatch of goods. This role ensures that all nightly activities are executed in accordance with company policies, health & safety standards, and operational goals. Key Responsibilities: * Supervise and manage the performance of night shift warehouse staff, i * Oversee the receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods in a timely and efficient manner. * Ensure accurate inventory control and reporting. * Monitor productivity and implement continuous improvement initiatives. * Conduct nightly shift handovers and report key issues or achievements to the day shift and senior management. * Enforce compliance with health and safety legislation and company policies. * Train, coach, and develop warehouse staff to maintain high standards. * Operate and ensure proper maintenance of equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks). * Liaise with transport, customer service, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow. Essential: * Proven experience in warehouse or logistics management, ideally in a night shift or similar role. * Strong leadership and team management skills. * Excellent understanding of warehouse procedures, inventory systems, and health & safety compliance. * Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure. * Good communication skills, both verbal and written. * Competent in Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems (WMS). Desirable: * FLT (Forklift Truck) license or similar certification. Working Hours: 42.5 Hrs/Wk., 17:00 – 02:30 hrs, Monday to Friday, 1 hour for breaks
