Job Description

A reputed innovative consultancy company that specialises in sourcing tailored solutions for businesses of all sizes and ages is looking for a suitable candidate for this role. With the companys team of experienced experts enabling a focused and efficient candidate search targeting individuals who drive organic growth and deliver measurable business outcome. The candidate with his team will be responsible for leading a small and focused team across performance reporting, keyword strategy, on-page optimisation, digital PR and technical SEO insight.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily, weekly and monthly SEO performance, spotting whats working and what isnt.
  • Deliver clear, commercially focused reports to the Head of SEO, with actionable insights that support lead growth.
  • Stay ahead of algorithm updates, assess business impact and lead clear, confident responses.
  • Ensure team and strategy adapt quickly to preserve and improve performance.
  • Identify and prioritise keywords that attract high-converting users, not just more traffic.
  • Monitor SERP trends to inform targeting strategy and refine visibility goals.
  • Audit and improve existing pages for structure, search intent and conversion performance.
  • Collaborate with the SEO Content Manager to ensure on-page improvements align with wider goals.
  • Identify and escalate technical issues affecting crawlability, indexation and site performance.
  • Work closely with developers to prioritise fixes that will deliver the most business value.
  • Monitor and report on Core Web Vitals and overall site health.
  • Lead and support digital PR and backlink campaigns that grow domain authority.
  • Monitor backlink health and manage risk proactively.
  • Champion SEO best practice across teamsensuring its embedded at the planning stage, not just post-launch.
  • Lead training sessions and support internal awareness of what good SEO looks like.

Person Specification

  • Advanced SEO expertise and Proven experience managing or mentoring a small SEO team, with clear evidence of performance impact
  • Strong working knowledge of on-page, off-page and technical SEO, with a focus on lead generation

  • Strong understanding of Core Web Vitals, keyword strategy and SEO\’s role in wider digital marketing
