The Role
Our client is currently recruiting passionate and dedicated Children's Support Workers to join their residential home in Totton, supporting children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties and autism. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference by providing a safe, nurturing and supportive home environment where children and young people can develop confidence, independence and essential life skills whilst receiving high-quality care.
Essential Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK (proof required)
- GCSE Grade C/Level 4 or above in Maths and English (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 6 months' experience working with children and/or young people
- Computer literate with good written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to complete the Level 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (if not already achieved) within two years of employment
- Willingness to undergo enhanced DBS checks, satisfactory references and safer recruitment checks
- Compassionate, resilient and professional approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work shifts
