Hours: Full Time Permanent – paid breaks

Shifts: Nights and weekends on rotation (20:00 - 08:00)

The Role

Our client is currently recruiting an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join their specialist mental health service based in Ringwood. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality care to adults with complex mental health and physical health needs. You will play a key role in delivering safe, person-centred care while maintaining high clinical standards, promoting recovery, and ensuring compliance with professional and regulatory requirements.

Essential Requirements:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification.
  • Current unrestricted NMC registration.
  • Minimum of 1 year's post-qualification experience as a Registered Mental Health Nurse.
  • Experience working within acute mental health settings.
  • Compassionate, caring and professional approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Flexible, proactive and self-motivated approach.
  • Right to work in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care to adults with complex mental health and physical health conditions.
  • Complete comprehensive assessments, care planning and risk management.
  • Administer and monitor medications in line with NMC guidelines.
  • Safeguard service users and escalate concerns appropriately.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver positive clinical outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Promote recovery, dignity and independence for all service users.
  • Support junior staff and contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture.
