Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Agricultural Service Technician who specialises in self-propelled forage harvesters. You will carry out diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on customer and dealer-owned agricultural equipment, particularly self-propelled forage harvesters. This role involves workshop and field-based work, supporting customers with service and repair work, setup, optimisation, and ongoing machine performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, service, and repairs on agricultural machinery, with emphasis on self-propelled forage harvesters and related systems.
- Work confidently with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and AMS technologies.
- Complete all job cards, DTAC cases, timesheets, and admin accurately and on time.
- Deliver right-first-time repairs to maintain customer satisfaction and departmental performance.
- Carry out field-based diagnostics and repairs when required.
- Advise customers on machine optimisation and deliver on-farm training sessions.
- Perform pre-delivery inspections, setups, and quality control checks.
- Liaise with manufacturers and specialists on complex technical repairs.
- Lead by example in Health Safety, compliance and housekeeping.
