Our client is a well-established company based in the Great Barr area of Birmingham; due to continued expansion they are now looking for an experienced Stock Analyst to join their existing team.
Main responsibilities of the role will include:
- Monitor and maintain all branded stock figures to ensure they remain within established minimum and maximum levels
- Identify and report out-of-stock items to the procurement team with urgency levels
- Calculate and advise on order quantities required to address shortfalls and restore optimal stock levels
- Track and evaluate supplier delivery accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain records of supplier performance metrics and elevate issues as appropriate
- Liaise with customer service team daily to communicate stock availability and expected delivery dates
- Prepare regular stock reports for management review
The ideal candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with inventory management software is a benefit but not essential
- Understanding of supply chain principles is a benefit but not essential
Hours of Work – Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm
