Manufacturing Engineer

Manufacturing Engineer – Uckfield – £40k – £45k per annum plus company benefits Our client is an extremely well established and successful organisation based in the Uckfield area; due to continued growth and expansion they are now growing their team and looking to recruit an experienced Manufacturing Engineer. Key Responsibilities: * Perform both reactive and preventative maintenance tasks across the site. * Maximise machine availability * Maintain records to comply with site policies and health & safety standards. * Oversee new plant installations/space planning * Oversee and record weekly inspections * Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety legislation and promote a culture of safety across the team. * Provide full training to staff on safe operation of machines Experience required: * Educated to HNC / Degree level ideally in mechanical engineering, multi skilled with an electrical bias * Proven experience in a furniture manufacturing or production engineering role * Experience with CAM software * Good computer skills (MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, AutoCAD). * Strong literacy, numeracy, and communication skills. * Able to communicate confidently with people at all levels.
