We are seeking a highly motivated and client-focused Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) to join a growing team. The successful candidate will provide holistic financial planning and investment advice to a diverse portfolio of clients. You will be responsible for building long-term relationships based on trust, integrity, and professionalism, helping clients achieve their financial goals through tailored, independent advice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining Client relationships to help maintain business flow and meet agreed targets
- Promoting the profile of the business within the profession and wider communities
- Providing financial information and advice to Clients, appropriate to their individual needs
- Develop the Client’s Financial Plan, established by completing the Client journey.
- To gain a deep understanding of the individual(s) circumstances to identify the correct life plan
- Collaborate with the team to present the suitable journey for the client in a clear and simplistic way
- Continuous professional development to meet regulatory requirements and personal development needs
- Ensuring that any business conducted is done in a responsible and compliant manner, meeting all legislative requirements, including new requirements around the new consumer duty regulation
- To be able to bring your existing clients across and continue to develop those relationships
- A key focus on cash flow modelling and be able to present several scenarios to your clients
- Preparation of meeting notes and personal information documentation
- Carry out income & expenditure collation & analysis
- Ensuring that all Client requirements and objectives are followed through to the appropriate conclusion
- Managing an ongoing review service appropriate to the Client’s needs
- Individual workflow and task delivery
Requirements:
- Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS / Level 4 Qualified) or higher (Chartered or Certified status preferred).
- Current FCA authorisation with Statement of Professional Standing (SPS).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Financial Advisor, preferably in an independent environment.
- In-depth knowledge of investment planning, inheritance tax planning, SIPPS and SSAS pensions, protection products.
- Proficient in financial planning software (PlannR) and CRM systems.
