Our client is a well established school within the Portsmouth area; they are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join their existing finance team.
Main responsibilities will include:
* Manage and oversee the schoolβs credit control process, ensuring prompt collection of outstanding fees.
* Maintain accurate debtor records and update payment schedules using Sage.
* Raise sales invoices and credit notes.
* Set up and manage direct debits and process Cardnet payments.
* Assist with general finance administration
All applicant should possess the following skills / experience:
* Previous Credit Control experience is essential
* Proficiency with Sage accounting software.
* Good working knowledge of finance procedures, including invoicing and payment reconciliation.
* Excellent communication skills
Enhanced DBS check required before starting
Hours β Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm (flexibility between 8am and 5pm considered)
Term time only applicants will be considered, providing they can work part of the summer holidays when key invoicing takes place.
