About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and confident Trainee Careers Advisers to help us deliver advice and guidance services to young people and adults in the {Advertised Location} area.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver careers advice in schools and other community settings.
- Support young people who have disengaged from learning.
- Provide one-to-one careers guidance and motivational group work.
- Shadow and train with various teams across Manchester to gain broad experience of our client groups.
What We’re Looking For
- Good interpersonal skills, empathy and a non‑judgemental approach.
- Experience helping others progress or supporting people to succeed.
- Self‑motivated, initiative‑driven and able to travel to different sites.
- University degree not required; we value experience and attitude more.
Training & Development
- Full training provided during the placement.
- We will fund your Level 6 Careers Adviser professional qualification (worth £3,045, approx. 18 months).
