About this job:
- Training Practice: Support GP trainees, F1 doctors, Medical and Nursing students.
- Enhanced services: Joint injections, minor surgery, care homes, chronic disease management and many more.
- Flexible Consultations: Mix of telephone and face-to-face appointments EMIS System, WCCG, GPTR.
Responsibilities:
- Telephone consultations.
- Surgery consultations.
- Queries.
- Home visits.
- Reviewing test results.
- Paperwork.
- Recording clear consultation notes to agreed standards.
- Issuing computer generated repeat and acute prescriptions.
- Prescribing in accordance with the practice prescribing formulary whenever clinically appropriate.
- Providing counselling and health education.
- Admitting or discharging patients to and from the caseload and referring to other care providers as appropriate.
- All normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.
