  • Encouraging independence where possible and encouraging service users to achieve personal goals
  • Providing support to ensure the safety and wellbeing of people relying on our services
  • Communicating well with service users using their chosen methods to support individuality
  • Monitoring and reporting any changes in health or circumstances of a service user to management
  • Supporting service users to engage in the local community from going shopping to attending events

You’ll need…

  • A willingness to work towards Level 2 Diploma or above in Health & Social Care
  • A good understanding of working with individuals with a learning disability and autism
  • Commitment to providing quality care and support
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, compassion and a motivational attitude at all times
  • A responsible, dedicated and flexible approach to work
  • Competent IT knowledge and computer skills
  • No previous experience or qualifications are required.
